3. Use of Personal Data

We never cede personal data to a third party unless you have specifically agreed to this, and we never collect personal data unless you have submitted this information to us when you register, buy or take part in a survey etc. Here, information including name, address, zip code, e-mail address, interests and knowledge of different subject is collected. We use the personal data to complete the purchase or the service in connection with which the information is collected.

If we have registered incorrect data or if you have any objections, please contact us using the same address or phone number. You have an opportunity to gain an insight into the data we have registered regarding you, and according to the regulations in the Danish Personal Data Act, you may object to any registration.

3.2 Protection of Personal Data

According to the Personal Data Act, your personal information must be stored in a secure and confidential way. We store your personal information on limited access computers that are located in controlled facilities and our security measures are regularly checked in order to decide whether our user information is handled with sufficient care and with due respect to your rights as a user. However, we cannot guarantee that internet data transfers are 100 per cent secure. This means that there could be a risk that a third party unrightfully gains access to information when data is transmitted and stored electronically. You submit your personal data at your own responsibility.

Personal data are continuously erased as the purposes for which they have been collected are terminated. Personal data will be stored for no more than 12 months after use.
The rapid development of the internet means that we may have to make changes in our treatment of personal data. Consequently, we reserve the right to update and change the present guidelines for the treatment of personal data. If we do so, we will of course change the date for "last updated" at the bottom of the page. In the case of important changes, we will let you know in the form of a visible notice on our websites.

If we process personal data regarding you, according to the Personal Data Act you have the right to know what personal information that can be attributed to you. If the information or data that we process regarding you are incorrect or misleading, you have the right to demand that they should be corrected, erased or blocked. You may at any time object to the processing of information about you. You can retract your consent at any time. You can file a formal complaint regarding the processing of information and data regarding you. You must submit your complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency, cf. article 58, paragraph 1 of the Danish Data Protection Act.

 

 

Short Description of the Treatment of Personal Data

It is of great importance to GlobalConnect that you feel safe when you are using our digital offers and other services. We use your personal data according to the Personal Data Act, other legislation and according to consents you have otherwise submitted to GlobalConnect.

What kind of information does GlobalConnect collect?

When you are in contact with GlobalConnect online, information is collected about you, e.g. when you sign up for our newsletter.

This is why we do not collect sensitive information on racial or ethnic background, religious or political beliefs, sexual identity or philosophical position, etc.

 

When you use our services, we collect information about you, including what services and websites you visit and how you use our digital offers and other services.

This includes operating system, browser version, IP addresses, cookies and unambiguous indicators. This information may be associated with your profile. The information offers us an opportunity to optimize the viewing of our services for the unit that you are using.

When you take advantage of GlobalConnect’s digital offers, we collect digital information about your visits in different ways via cookies. Cookies are a very widespread technology, which is necessary in order to offer standard functionality like automatic logins and online shopping baskets.
